Everything you need to know about a change of marital status

It’s important to inform CSS about your new marital status. That way, your insurance documents can be kept up to date.

New policy following change of marital status

If your marital status changes, you’ll be sent a new policy. The premiums will stay the same, but the contract will have a new name and contain your correct personal details.

Change of name – what to do?

If your name changes, all your documents will be amended to reflect the change. You only need to tell CSS about your new name once. We’ll then make all the necessary adjustments to your health insurance for you. You’ll receive a new insurance card automatically.

For your partner: Do you benefit from a framework contract? If you marry or enter into a registered partnership, the discount often also applies to your partner.
