Energy boost with matcha

Matcha is a finely ground green tea powder from Japan, prized for its caffeine content and natural energy-enhancing properties. The caffeine in matcha is bound to polyphenols, which means that instead of being released in the stomach, it’s released later down the line in the gut. This is what prevents sudden drops in energy. Polyphenols also act as antioxidants and boost the immunity of cells and the whole body.

Balanced caffeine effect

In addition to polyphenols, matcha also contains L-theanine – an amino acid with calming and relaxing properties – that helps balance the stimulating effects of caffeine.

Enjoy matcha safely

Because of its caffeine content, matcha is unsuitable for children. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consume it in moderation. People taking medication should consult their doctor due to potential interactions.
